The start of a new chapter!

Wow, I don't even really know what to do with myself today. It is the first day I have without homework! I know I graduated last Thursday, but I usually don't have homework on the weekends anyways...so today it really hit me that I'M DONE! You can read about my Graduation HERE if you didn't get a chance too Friday!
So now that I am basically starting a new chapter in my life, I have to regroup, reorganize, and figure out what I am going to do! A little overwhelming, but I am SOO excited to see what the future holds!
Okay now for a little weekend recap! Friday was a lot of fun taste testing dinner entrées for the wedding. The food was AMAZING so we have a difficult decision ahead of us! We also went to see my little sister's first dance competition for the middle school dance line! She did so good! Sorry the pics aren't that great, it was hard to get a decent shot! 

Saturday we helped Sean's brother and his wife move into their new home! We are so excited for them, and helping out got us even more anxious about our house! We are hoping and praying we hear something soon! Saturday night we went to have dinner with our friends Jessie and Justin at Kahn's! It was super yummy! I love stir fry, and this place you get to create your own, so good!

Sunday we had a lazy day! We organized all the stuff we have been collecting for when we move out, and just hung out...I LOVE days like that!

My Graduation!

Wow! Yesterday was absolutely wonderful! It was more than I could have ever asked for!! Just a warning...there are a lot of pictures in this post!
Our day started with ordering our wedding cake, and picking up our delicious RED VELVET cake for graduation!! 

We were able to visit with our grandma's that came down from Duluth! We took a LOT of pictures, opened presents, and talked about our futures!

My Grandma Nancy got us beautiful platinum silver bracelets!

My Grandma Jean gave us some antique moon glass vases from her collection...they are from the 1930's and SO beautiful! 

Then we got in our gowns and headed to the ceremony! My sister and I were 2 out of a handful in black gowns instead of blue because we got the Bachelor's degree!

Our friends Jessie and Justin were so sweet to come and support me! They got me a beautiful necklace! Thanks guys! 

Afterwards we went to dinner with the whole family...delicious! 
Today we get to do the taste testing for the food for the wedding! SO EXCITED! Happy Friday everyone!

What happened to Spring?

So I feel like complaining today...about MN Winter...it needs to GO AWAY!
We got spoiled the past week with beautiful weather, melting snow, and the feeling of Spring finally arriving...well that all disappeared today....I think it is safe to say this is the worst snow we have had all winter. It is wet, heavy, sticky snow and the roads are pretty much an ice rink! ICK!
My mom's city bus went into the ditch, my co worker got stuck trying to pull into the parking  lot....my sister got stuck trying to leave work! Thank goodness for my 4 wheel drive! OH AND then there HAD to be a fire alarm today at the school I work at so we had 100 kids standing outside in the blizzard without jackets!  I wish the plows would get out there and start clearing the roads already! Okay enough complaining...sorry for that little venting session!
On a brighter note my little sister got to stay home from school so I get to spend the day with her today at least! Isn't she adorable?

AND I just finished my last assignment for college, tomorrow is the big day WAHOO! Please send out your prayers that if my Grandma's  still come down for my graduation that they have safe travels!
Everyone else be safe today too if you are in this horrible weather!

Simply Amazing

Today is a good day. I just finished taking my final college exam ever! AMAZING!
I got an A on this exam....AMAZING!
AND my sweet fiance Sean is simply AMAZING! He just surprised me with MN TWINS TICKETS for the opening game as a graduation present! AWWW
Okay, so I absolutley LOVE baseball, and the MN Twins....LOVE is an understatement actually. There is nothing better than watching your favorite team play, not to mention outdoors now :), and snacking on baseball food...peanuts, candy, popcorn...YUM and listening to all the fans cheer! It is also just a super fun and special thing that Sean and I share a passion for! 
The new field is amazing...the sky line view is breath taking!

A LOT to look forward too!

How was your weekend? I hope it was better than mine! I. AM. STILL. SICK! ugh! It started on Tuesday and since then I swear this sickness had made its way through every part of my body

Thats pretty much what my weekend/past week consisted of! I do have to say that I have the most amazing fiance in the world. He did not leave my side and waited on me hand and foot. I am such a lucky girl! Today I am starting to feel on the mend, but I am definitely still going to lay low because I have  A LOT to look forward too this week!
Thursday is my graduation! I cannot believe it, it still doesn't feel real! My grandma's are coming down from Duluth MN for it, and we will be going out to dinner to celebrate with the family after the ceremony! My mom also ordered my favorite cake, red velvet with cream cheese frosting! YAY! Another cool fact, I am graduating WITH my sister! SO FUN I can share this with her!
A couple other things I have to look forward too:
Ordering my wedding cake!Picking out flowers for the wedding!Food tasting! Invitations!
YAY! What a busy but exciting week! Now I am off to take a final, then only one more tomorrow!

Thankful on a Thursday!

106. Sick Time! I am still sick today :-( But I am so thankful for sick time! I can't afford to miss work, so having that comfort of knowing I am still getting paid today is amazing! Hopefully I can rest and finally be better for tomorrow!
107. Spring!! Spring is in the air here in MN! I hear by the end of the weekend most of the snow should be gone! It will be in the high 40's low 50's all weekend and I cannot wait to enjoy it!
108. My handsome Irishman! Sean Patrick Grady....need I say more? You can't get more Irish than that! He has been so sweet to me since I have been sick, AND he has been working so many hours for us! I love him so  much! Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!

109. 1 Week until graduation! WOW I can't even believe it! I only have a couple tests left to take and next Thursday I will be walking! My sister and I will be 2 out of only a small handful in black gowns instead of blue....this means we got a bachelor's degree and not just the associates. I think this is pretty cool we will stand out! 
110. The Ellen Show! There is one peak of being home sick, and that is I get to watch all the morning shows I usually miss! The Ellen Show is my favorite....she is SO funny!

 I am sick :-( Today I am checking out. I am taking a day to rest, relax, and get better.

I am always SO busy with my 2 jobs and work, but not today. I need to take this time and not feel guilty about it. I plan on laying around ALL day in hopes I will be better tomorrow! Have a good day friends!
