Thankful on a Thursday!

Well, we have almost made it to the weekend again! I am looking forward to a LOT this weekend, so it cannot come fast enough! Here is what I am thankful for this week.
81. Lunch dates! I LOVE going out to lunch, and chit chatting with my loved ones
82. Surprises! So i'm pretty sure Sean is brewing something up for tomorrow.....we'll see :-)
83. A Warm up! The forecast for here in MN is looking good....30's all next week, which is WARM!
84. Opportunities! Now that Sean is graduated and I only have 6 weeks left (YAY) I have been thinking a LOT about how thankful I am for my education! It is such a huge accomplishment to obtain a bachelor's degree, and I have to admit I am very proud of myself! The opportunities are endless, and education is something that you will always have and will always be valuable!
85. Valentines Day! I am so excited to celebrate with our friends Jessie and Justin at one of our favorite little restaurants!

Back to Reality

Hey friends! My long weekend is now over and today I went back to reality! It was SO great to have a little extra time off! 
Do you ever have one of those days where you just don't want to do anything but lay in bed....well thats me today. I have so much homework and I work tonight, but I just don't want to do any of it! 
I keep telling myself all this hard work will pay off, but I am really starting to get worried about finding a job. I have high hopes for my future career, but it seems so impossible to come by a decent job now a days...you are lucky just to have one let alone have a GOOD one you enjoy! I am struggling with the fact that I can't control the future, I just have to leave it up to God and let him guide my way. He has a plan for me. 
I have been listening to this song a lot lately, it has been very uplifting!

Busy Busy Busy

Sorry I have been MIA in blog world....this is why....

My new classes are more work than ever! I am SO tired of homework already and it is only week 2 out of 12...I definitely need to find some motivation! I will hopefully be back blogging tomorrow!!

Back to Reality...

Yesterday I started my final quarter of school...I was so excited until I saw the workload I will have the next 3 months.....my life will consist of school and work! It is really hard to get back into this routine, and I am finding myself feeling lazy towards homework now that the end is in sight.....the countdown begins...12 weeks!
For Christmas my Grandma gave me a Pier One gift card. I absolutely LOVE this store, it has the coolest things!  She knows Sean and I have been collecting stuff for when we move out, and that I have began to put a color scheme/design together in my head, I have so much fun designing and decorating! My mom, sisters, and I went shopping there over the weekend, we spent a long time wondering around looking at all the options I had! 
I ended up deciding I wanted to get a centerpiece for either the table or the island in the kitchen. Remember the rug my mom bought us for the upstairs living room?

Well I found the perfect centerpiece, and then my little sister Jodell had the idea of pulling colors from the rug for the candles....what do you think?

I just love all the color, it is so fun! Earth tones are my favorite!

Hello Break

I am SOOO happy to announce that I am DONE with my classes this quarter! This was definitely a tough quarter, lots of work, and very time consuming...can't say i'm sad its gone! I now have a break until January 3rd. I know that doesn't seem very long, but considering I go to school year round, I will cherish and enjoy every second of it! The end is in sight...only one quarter left EVER!
Here in Minnesota we just got through another snow storm...this weather NEEDS to go away so I can travel up north for Christmas! We are nearing the most snowfall in the history on MN!! Isn't that nuts??! They have been having to bring in snow melter's to get rid of some of it...it is taking over!
3 days until Christmas!! I can't believe how fast it came this year! I am pretty much finished with my shopping, just have to go pick up some treats for my work party tomorrow! Are you finished with all your shopping?! I wanted to share two quotes I saw they other day, It really reminds us to remember the TRUE meaning of Christmas.  Many people get caught up in the busyness that the holiday season brings, the shopping, the cooking , traveling, the baking....just take a minute to remember WHY we will be celebrating this special day!
