Fall Must Haves!

 

Yesterday was a long day, I worked my regular 8 hour shift, then headed to my other job as a personal care assistant for the evening. We went trick or treating of course :)

Once I finally got home after being gone from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm I sat on the couch, curled up with Sean, and soaked up how much I love my home. I have been told by multiple people that my house feels Fallish because of the colors and decor which I love...Fall is the best! What do you think?

This gave me the inspiration to share with you a few of my Fall must haves!

First off, apple cinnamon scented candles. I love this smell, and use it for Fall/Christmas season. It makes the house smell cozy!



My wicker pumpkin comes next. It adds a great glow to the kitchen this time of year. LOVE!

I also have a candle holder pumpkin which is so cute and festive! I use it as my centerpiece.

During this season I have to make pumpkin seeds. Sean seasoned them up this year and let me tell ya, they are delicious!!

Finally, this year I came across this new Febreze seasonal scent, Falling Leaves and Spice, and SOOO good smelling. I am obsessed with spraying it, and the scent stays for a while!

Happy Fall Friday!

YAY! We have finally made it to Friday!! I still say it is unfair we have to work 5 days and only get 2 off...who came up with that idea? I am so excited for this weekend...it will be full of Fall fun! Fall is one of my FAVORITE times of year aside from Christmas. It is so beautiful, and I love all the Fall activities, scents, and decor.  

How can you not love Fall? GORGEOUS!

Tonight we are getting together with a group of friends to get scared at a haunted hay ride and corn maze. We went last year and it was by FAR the best hauted event I have ever been too so I am thrilled to go again. Best yet, Sean won free tickets in a contest! SCORE!

Saturday I am spending the day with my mom, sisters, and the boy I PCA for. Technically its working, but its hard for me to call it work when we are going shopping, baking cookies, making carmeled apples, and watching halloween movies! FUN!

Sunday I plan on relaxing with my husband (still love saying that lol), and getting some stuff done around the house....its so hard to find the motivation!

Fall Fun-ness!

Wow! What a great weekend I had! I hope everyone else enjoyed their Halloween weekend as well!
Don't you love how each season has activities or different things you do for it?! Well my Saturday was full of Fall  fun-ness! Ryan, the boy I PCA for, my little sister Jodell, my Mom, and one of my best friends ever Molly came and joined in the fun!! We started by making Halloween Cookies, MMMMM!

Next we made caramel apples! I have never made a caramel apple, I've always just bought them pre-made, so this was interesting to say the least! They turned out cute, and were a lot of fun!

After the apples were finished we carved pumpkins! SO FUN!

We ended our Fall fun-ness with pizza and one of my all time favorite Halloween movies, Hocus Pocus! 
Sunday was another great day! We started the day with church. Then my sisters, my mom, and me went to lunch and out shopping for a bit! I got some great stuff at even greater prices! My sweetheart finally got home Sunday afternoon. He had gone up north to take the dock out at the cabin and close it up for the winter, so sad! When he got home, Jodell and him carved their pumpkins :)  

This year my little sister didn't want to go trick or treating, but she still wanted to dress up. So Sean decided to dress up with her to hand out candy, so sweet of him. She was a zombie fairy, and Sean was a zombie as well!!

I was kinda disappointed with how quiet trick or treating was this year....Oh well!
