Hello blogging friends! I am not so happy it is Monday, but I can say I had an amazing weekend! While listening to the radio on the way to work this morning a wonderful quote was shared that reminded me to be optimistic for this busy week ahead...."Monday's are the start of new adventures, and new blessings from God."
Friday we had a holiday party for Sean's work! They had some super nice gifts including flat screen TV's, Ipod, Wii, and some outdoors-men stuff Sean would have loved. We ended up winning a wine cooler, which is a nice gift minus the fact we aren't really wine drinkers. Oh well, it will at least look nice and be good for entertaining!
Saturday my aunt and cousin from Duluth came down. We went shopping, and then the whole family went out to dinner! It was so much fun! We played trivia, ate some delicious food, and caught up! It is so nice getting the whole family together like that!
Sunday we went to a cake tasting! We tried a lot of different flavors of cake and frosting...my favorite was red velvet with cream cheese frosting, and white cake with almond flavored frosting! I am going to do a tasting at one more bakery before making a decision!
Afterwards it was time for football! Sean and I got Chinese take out, then tried out our new popcorn maker for Sean's future bar in his garage! It is so cool! Popcorn went flying everywhere!
