Christmas Celebrations Recap!

Hey friends!! It feels like it has been a while! I want to start by saying I hope you all had a blessed Christmas weekend! I know I sure did! I also have very much enjoyed this time off Sean and I have had!! Now I want to recap my Christmas celebrations with lots of pictures!

This was the best Christmas yet...why? It was my first Christmas as Sean's wife which was amazing!!

Friday night we went to Duluth and relaxed. My favorite part of this evening was our night walk with Remi and my little sister. We looked at Christmas lights and decorations as we walked my grandma's little neighborhood in Duluth!

Saturday we headed up to Two harbors to spend the weekend with my Dad's family. We had such a blast! We ate a lot of delicious food, played some games, and giggled over my grandma's gag gift to all the cousins!

Saturday evening we went to my aunt's house for the evening in Superior WI. I love spending time with family. I have the most fun, entertaining, loving family! I cherish every second with them.

Christmas day we headed back home to spend the day with Sean's side of the family. We enjoyed some delicious homemade bruchetta and lasagna..YUM! Then I helped our sweet nieces paint some rings that they got from Santa

Cell phone pic..BOOO
Monday was my favorite day! We hosted Christmas at our home for my immediate family! There were LOTS of presents waiting to be opened. It was the best to see all my family members faces as they opened their gifts!

Even Remi had gifts to open....she was great at it!!

We ended our evening with Home Alone which had us all laughing, what a classic!

Yesterday it was my sweet Mama's birthday! All us sister's and her spent the day shopping and went out to lunch! It was a wonderful day!! LOVE YOU MAMA!!!

Today Sean and I have finally had some time to relax! It has been wonderful! There is nothing better than waking up, making coffee, cuddling in with the pup and relaxing!

We still have 5 days off after today and I want to soak it all up!!

I hope you all are having a great week so far!! Talk to you soon :)

Merry Christmas!!!

Well we have almost made it!! In two more hours I will be off work for 10 days, and heading up north to see my family! I definitely have my share of celebrating planned out in the next couple days.

Friday- We are heading up to Duluth MN, and spend the evening with my mom, little sister, and Grandma..and of course Sean and Remi. I think a movie, and ice cream from the best little ice cream shop is in store!

Saturday- We will be waking up bright and early to head up north a little further to Two Harbors MN to spend the first part of the day with my dad's side of the family. There is always AMAZING food courtesy of my grandma, lots of laughs, and fun game time! Saturday evening we are going to my aunts house in Superior WI for a fun night with all the cousins!

Sunday- We are heading home to spend the day at Sean's parents with all my in laws! We were asked to bring an appetizer and decided on bruchetta! Can't wait to make it and of course eat it :)

Monday- We are hosting Christmas at our house for our immediate family! I absolutely love spending time with them and cherish every moment! I can't wait for everyone to open their presents...my tree is overflowing with them!

During my week off I won't be posting everyday...but I will try to sneak in a couple posts atleast! I am going to soak up every second of my break with family, friends, relaxing, shopping, and hopefully a few fun things that Sean and I don't normally have the time to do....dinner and a movie maybe!?

I want to wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I pray everyone's celebrations are blessed, that you all make amazing memories that will last a lifetime! I also pray that the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ is celebrated above all! God Bless you all!!!!

This Weekend...

I have a lot of great things to look forward too! The bulk of my weekend will be spent with the boy, Ryan,  I PCA for. Even though I will technically be working it sure doesn't feel like work!

Tonight I think pizza and a Christmas movie sounds great...maybe Elf or Polar Express. I love them both!

Tomorrow is busy busy! My mom and I plan on taking Jodell and Ryan down town to the Macy's 8th floor display, which this year is "Life as an Elf". Every year around Christmas time we bring them down there, so it is now tradition. Here is a picture of us there last year.

Sorry it's so dark!! Terrible Lighting!

We also plan on going to the Holidazzle Parade Saturday night so I will take lots of pictures!

Sunday is the day I am MOST excited for!! After church my friend Jessie has offered to take our Christmas card pictures! YAY I am so excited to make our first Christmas card together! The rest of the day will be spent with family celebrating a late Thanksgiving. This year we all went out opposite ways, so we finally found the time to get together and celebrate!! I promise I will remember my camera this time!

This really is the most wonderful time of the year! I love all the joy and happiness in the air :) For today's 25 days of Christmas I wanted to share with you my favorite Christmas candy. I have the biggest sweet tooth, so I always keep my santa candy dish full :) Here is what you will find in it this year!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

A Long Night...TGIF

Yesterday was a long day/night. At about 11am Sean had called and said he was headed home with a migraine...little did we know this was blessing in disguise.

Sean came home to a very sick puppy....our sweet, happy, energetic Remi had gotten sick all over her kennel. I am so thankful Sean left work with a migraine because after he got home Remi had gotten sick 5 more times and also threw up. I cannot even imagine how horrible it would have been for her if she was stuck in the kennel all day long while being sick.

The vet is running some tests today, so we are anxiously awaiting the results. Thankfully my sister Jaclyn and our friend Jesse are babysitting and monitoring her today..I will keep you posted!

For day 2 of 25 days of Christmas I wanted to share a few things from my wish list!

~Woodwich Candles. They smell SO good, and crackle when they burn which is so relaxing to hear! LOVE THEM!

~ A new bath robe...nerdy? maybe, but I love mine and it's getting old!

~Victoria Secert Yoga pants...need I say more? LOVE these!

~Movies...every year I make a list of new releases that I want to get. Christmas is the perfect time to ask for them! On the list this year is The Switch, Water for Elephants, and a few Christmas movies to add to my collection!

What's on your list this year?

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Welcome December!!

So December is here...it is officially the month of Christmas!! Here in Minnesota we are welcoming December in the best way yet, with snow! We have been super lucky so far and haven't been dumped on so I have decided I am okay with it today :-)

Considering I have been SO excited for Christmas this year I have decided to do the 25 days of Christmas right here on my blog! From now until December 25th I will share one of my favorite Christmas "things" within each post!!

Since it's day one, I'll start off big...Christmas movies, which I am pretty much obsessed with! There are so many great ones that it was hard to pick, so here are my top 5 in no particular order!

1. "Uncle Clark, are you sure you ain't Santa Clause?" "I'm sure, I can't even afford to be an elf."

2. "You'll shoot your eye out"

3.  "The Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day. And then the true meaning of Christmas came through, and the Grinch found the strength of ten Grinches plus two!"

4. "Buzz's girlfriend..WHOOF!!"

5. "Bah! Humbug!"

I love so many others including Elf, Jack Frost, and Polar Express!!

What is your favorite Christmas movie?!
