This Weekend...

 

This weekend was great! It was so much fun to have my mom and little sister stay with me when Sean went hunting. A big portion of my weekend was spent shopping, a little Christmas gift shopping but mostly Christmas decor for my house!

Here is what I got!! Can you tell I am excited?!

It is definitely starting to feel like Christmas in my house. Now I am looking forward to cutting down our first tree together!

Besides shopping, I had family over for dinner Saturday night, and Sunday Remi and I relaxed and waited in anticipation for Sean to get home!

Adopt a Family- We need your help!

 

Yesterday I was reading my blogging friend Samantha's post, and she is on a mission to bring back the true meaning of Christmas. A lot of people get lost in the idea of shopping, gifts, food, time off work, etc. that we forget the true meaning of the holiday season.  This year, Samantha is adopting two families that are in need of help. Without us, they will not be able to afford to provide Christmas to their families this year. Head on over to her blog, Walking With God, for more information on these two families.  Right away I contacted Samantha and told her I wanted to help her! There is nothing better in my eyes then spreading around the holiday cheer.  Now this may seem a bit early, but remember we need time to collect the gifts and get the gifts to these families.
