Thankful for YOU!

 

Today I wanted to express how thankful I am for blogging, and especially for YOU all my blogging friends! I have met so many amazing ladies in the past year and I am grateful for each and every one of you!!

Last night I got home from work at about 8...hadn't been home since 5:30 that morning..so I was very tired, and not in the best mood. When I walk in I see a package sitting on the counter for me! It was from my sweet blogging friend Samantha. If you haven't checked out her blog yet, get over there and do it! She is so inpirational, and always has an uplifting message to share! Anyways, I had joined forces with Samantha this year to adopt a family in need. She has been nothing but grateful and appreciative of the help, and to thank me she sent me this!

Isn't it beautiful! It totally made my night better, and it will forever remind me that I am God's hands and feet. I want to be used to do good in this world, and I can make a difference in other's lives! Thank you so much Samantha, that was so sweet of you and I absolutely love it!

Whew! So many great ladies to choose from! Now for 7 random things about myself:

1. I am OCD when it comes to my straightner or curling iron..I have to check if it's off multiple times before leaving the house.

2. I am lactose intolerant..ick!

3. I am animal obsessed, and cry every time I see an ASPCA commercial!

4. I can't sleep unless the sheets are tucked in on the bottom...the blankets have to be nice and organized!

5. The minute I get home I get out of my work clothes and put on my sweats and slippers!

6. I can fall asleep at anytime, and pretty much anywhere...I LOVE my sleep!

7. I have the taste buds of a child. I love candy, fruit snacks, mac and cheese...and any other typical children's food!

Last but not least, for today's 25 days of Christmas, a few pictures from last Christmas...and what I am still dreaming of for this Christmas...LOTS of snow!

Thankful on a Thursday and About Me!

Happy Thursday friends! I am SO happy the weekend is here tomorrow! The things I am thankful for this week include
131. Mani's and Pedi's! I will be enjoying these in a couple of hours with a few of my favorite ladies! 
132. My co-workers! They are so wonderful, and we always have the most interesting conversations...I am definitely going to miss them...only 4 more days :(
133. Duluth! I will be spending my weekend in this beautiful city I call home. Can't wait to see my family!

134. The warmer weather, it has been so nice!
135. Laura Story. I heard this song on the radio the other day, and the message really hit home. It is a beautiful song and I could listen to it over and over. I highly recommend you take the time to listen to it!

Now about me...My sweet friend Laura at Learning to Love gave me this fun award! The directions are to share 7 things about myself that you may not know....here we go!

1. I am the most indecisive person....it can be very frustrating

2. I love junk food...which is NOT a good thing

3. I am scared of change, which I am facing a lot of currently

4. I secretly wish I was an interior designer or a professional dancer

5. Music is an extremely important part of my life

6. I am HORRIBLE at math...even simple math. I have had kids at my work (kindergarten through fifth grade) ask for help on their math homework and I have trouble...how embarrassing!

7. I am extremely organized and like to have everything planned, it can sometimes be a little to much even ;-)

Is this Normal?

So I got my contacts yesterday which I am VERY excited about.....glasses get old! However I don't feel as though I can see as clearly with the contacts as I did with my glasses. Is this normal?

Are my eyes just trying to adjust to something new?
Could it be because my prescription changed slightly?
Anyone with contacts please let me know what you think!!

Did you know Part 2!

So I got a GREAT response from my last did you know post, so today I am going to share a few more things about myself!
-The SECOND I get home I put on PJ pants-I talk to my cats constantly as if they can understand me-I am OBSESSED with scented things-I LOVE watching Teen Mom and HGTV-My dream is to be a top exec at Aveda-Dancing use to be my life, I miss it terribly (why don't they offer dance class for adults?)-I have a phobia of spending money, I am a HUGE saver-I am the most indecisive person EVER-I LOVE to sleep. I usually am in bed by 9. I can fall asleep anywhere at anytime...Sean calls me his old lady-I am very forgiving...I don't know if that is good or bad?-I am anal about the bedding. I can't go to bed if the bed isn't made perfectly-I am NOT a partier. I would rather stay home and hang out-I HATE onions, but LOVE mushrooms-I have NEVER actually read a chapter of a text book...But somehow I still get really good grades-Clutter gives me anxiety-I call my parents every single day

Did you know?

Today I thought it would be fun to share some facts about myself with you! I thank each and everyone of you for reading my blog and being faithful followers, so I want you to get to know me better! Some of this stuff you may already know, other things I have only shared with a few people in my life! Soooooo DID YOU KNOW?
- I absolutely LOVE candy! I am like a little kid when it comes to it- I am deathly afraid of snakes-Sean was my first kiss-I am always cold! I swear I have bad circulation-I am HORRIBLE at exercising...how do I motivate myself?-I am freakishly organized. I have lists everywhere and would die without my planner-I desperately want to be able to cook like Rachel Ray-I have a phobia of dead animals that are stuffed, aka taxidermy. I have hard time going into any sporting goods stores because of this-My favorite food is anything pasta-I am lactose intolerant, hypoglycemic, have horrible heart burn almost every day, claustrophobic, and get terrible motion sickness.....needless to say my purse is basically a medicine cabinet-I am in LOVE with Fall-I CRY  every time I see an ASPCA commercial....and I CANNOT watch animal cops!

I Was Tagged!

So apparently there is a fun game going around the blog world, and I was tagged!! Here are my questions and answers :)

1. What is your favorite physical feature of your husband?

This is hard! I can't just pick one so I am going to go with my favorite 3 . I love Sean's smile, its contagious, his dimple, and he has the most beautiful eyes I have EVER seen!! 

2. How many kids do you want to have? Boys, girls?

As of right now, Sean and I aren't ready for kids...we are so focused on graduating college, getting married, and buying a house! If down the road we decide a child is in our future, I would say I would want one boy and one girl!

3. Where would your dream vacation be?

Ireland!! Sean is SO Irish, Sean Patrick Grady, need I say  more? I also have quite a bit if Irish in me! I have heard that it is so beautiful there, and I think it would be so fun to check out our heritage first hand!

4. What is one thing you have done that you so wish you could take back?

I honestly can't say I have regrets. I believe everything I have been through and done has made me who I am today. If I had to pick one thing though, I would say I wish I would have been nicer to my sister, and mom when I was in those oh so pleasant teenage years!

5. Tell me about the most embarressing thing that has happened to you!

I don't get embarrassed very easily so this is tough!  I guess I would have to say when Sean saw old home videos when we first started dating.....I was something else when I was younger!

6. What is one thing that could turn your bad day, into a great day

Well, Sean always makes me feel better. Just a hug and a kiss from him can turn my day around! Spending time with my little sister Jodell also always puts a smile on  my face. She is so funny, and full of life, I can't help but be happy when she is around!
